And so the Cabbage Patch Caitie journeyed onwards to South Africa, pausing at the Virgin Islands for some unfathomable reason. After a long flight she finally arrived at Johannesburg International Airport and there her box was jostled and bumped and spilled onto the tarmac. Poor Caitie, as if she had not had enough problems in her previous life. Stoically she endured the rough handling until eventually she was able to get out of her box and make her way to where the Tumbling Twinns were.
Yrena the Ytterbianese Twinn had left her instructions on how to get to the home of the Tumbling Twinns and she decided that the best place to find them was at the block of flats where they all lived. As she was climbing the stairs she felt the sudden onset of danger

It was a dreaded grey knurled slinky viper! deadly to Twinns and it had her in its dastardly grasp! This was a job for.....

Cosmic Tangerine dove to the rescue, attacking the deadly viper with hammer blows to its body and karate kicks where it hurt most! She fought the deadly viper, intent on first freeing the hapless Caitie.

The viper, enraged at this intrusion turned its attention to the valiant Cosmic Tangerine, enveloping her in its deadly coils.

She unravelled the coils of the deadly viper and hurled it over the railing. Then she jumped down and landed on the writhing body of the deadly viper!

The grey knurled slinky viper knew when it was beaten and hightailed it into the flower bed, watched by the ever vigilant Cosmic Tangerine. Caitie was safe!

"Are you alright?" Cosmic Tangerine asked the slightly bedraggled Caitie.

"Yes thank you, I am so glad you came along, if you hadn't I think I would have ended up as lunch for that crummy viper."
"Are you are new around here? I haven't seen you before."
"Oh yes, I just arrived today, I was looking for the Tumbling Twinns and almost got squished instead. Do you know where I can find them?"
"Sure, no problem, I will take them to you. I am on my way there too."
"Oh excellent, at least I know I won't be made into a meal with you by my side. Tell me Caped Crusader, what is your name?"
"My name? They call me COSMIC TANGERINE, but you can call me CT. What is your name?"
"My name? I don't know, it seems to have gotten lost along with my luggage, I expect I can always get another name though."
"I am sure you can, in fact I know another Caitie who will be only to glad to help you out. We are almost there, then we can rest up and I can go change back into my normal clothes again."
"Tell me CT, what is your real name?"
"My real name? it's... Oh look, there are some of the other Twinns. I expect they have been watching this whole escapade. I must leave you now, but remember, whenever you need me, just call on me and I will try to be there unless I am busy working or sleeping, in which case you better shout really loud."
The Twinn watched as Cosmic Tangerine took off in a blaze of orange light and disappeared into the distance.

The Twinns watched her fly away and then greeted the new Twinn who had arrived. "Wow, we saw it all!" they exclaimed.
"Was it a bird?" Brenda asked.
"Or a plane?" Elinor queried.
"No, it's our own Cosmic Tangerine, here to save the day..." Heather said triumpantly.

Caitie climbed the stairs to where Heather was waiting. "Hullo, my name is Heather, I haven't seen you around here before."

"How do you do Heather, I am not too sure what my name is at the moment, I had a close encounter with an airline x-ray machine and now an encounter with a nasty viper, its all very traumatic."
"Oh yes I can imagine. Cosmic Tangerine has chased the viper away, so I doubt if we will see it again. But I know you must be worn out after all that excitement, come inside and have a cup of coffee with us and you can tell us all about how you came here."

"Coffee? Heather, how many times must I tell you, Caities love tea! and that's a Caitie you have there."
"Oh hi Dawn, I am sorry, you know I still struggle with molds. Unnamed Caitie, meet Dawn, our resident Caitie."
"How do you do Caitie, welcome, it's great to have another Caitie here at Tumbling Twinns."

"Thank you Dawn, I am honoured to meet you, and Heather too, I see that I have at least arrived at the right address."
"Yep, to the best of our knowledge we are the only Twinns in South Africa. And now there are two Caities so things will go much better. These other Twinns have no idea of how Caities run things. Come inside and meet the rest of the gang. Caitlyn is around somewhere, she is the Alpha Twinn and we work together at C&D Detective Agency."
Dawn took the Caitie inside and organised tea and the pair of them sat down and chatted until Caitlyn arrived.

"Tell me Dawn, are there lots of these vipers lurking around here just waiting to jump out and have Twinns for lunch?"
"Ordinarily not Caitie, but strange things can happen when Twinns are around and I suspect it must have come out of its hole because it was hungry, they usually hibernate around about this time of the year. You are just lucky that Cosmic Tangerine arrived in time. I must organise a few of the girls to hunt it down and send it off to the local zoo."
Just then Dawn heard Caitlyn arriving, "That sounds like Cait now, lets go and meet her. She will be surprised."

Caitlyn was looking somewhat worse for wear. "Hi Cait, you look like you had an appointment in the coalshed." Dawn said, trying not to giggle at Caitlyn's very grimy look.
"Hi Dawn, Yes, I had a slight problem. We were trying to set up a rescue for Victoria. Alison and Sarah had made her a superhero costume and I had to set up some sort of incident that we could use to get Victoria's confidence back, but I slipped and fell into the dustbin and then couldn't get out. I hope it's not too late to set up an incident now."
"Never mind that, I want you to meet our new arrival, she is a Caitie as you can see and she needs a name and some clothes and a job and a place to stay...."
Caitlyn laughed, "How do you do Caitie, I am pleased to see you. I did get notification about your arrival from somebody called Yrena, but it was written in a strange language which looked very much like Yrtterbianese. I assumed that the new arrival was Erin. Irrespective, welcome to Tumbling Twinns Caitie, I hope that you will be very happy here."

"Thank you Caitlyn, I am looking forward to meeting everybody. I almost never got here, lucky for me Cosmic Tangerine rescued me!"
"She did? you better tell me all about it Caitie, although it will have to wait for awhile until I can get cleaned up. I cannot believe I missed all the excitment once again. Dawn, can you take Caitie to the wardrobe and get her something comfy to wear while I go clean up, then we can all sit down to hear her story. I expect the others will start arriving soon so we can have a grand story telling session."

And so the Cabbage Patch Caitie finally arrived at Tumbling Twinns, and was welcomed into our home where she joined in the fun with the rest of the gang. She still has to tell us the tale of how she arrived here, but that is another story for another day.
