4th of July, Happy Independence Day

Caitlyn was ordered from a company in the United States, and as a result is very patriotic about America. So when the 4th of July came around Caitlyn got into the spirit of things, put on her fineries, raided the cupboards and did this small tribute to Independence Day. Fortunately she never found any fireworks or things could have gotten hot. However, she loves the United States and I hope to take her back there one day where we will have a full scale BBQ and real fireworks.

Independence Day in the United States is celebrated on the 4th of July, and it celebrates the formal adoption by the Continental Congress of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, even though the signing of the Declaration was not completed until August. Today it is celebrated throughout the United States with parades, picnics, fireworks and BBQ's, and by ex pats throughout the world. Happy Independence Day America!
