Friends of the Rail To Cullinan
|
This trip took place on 26 September 2010 from Hermanstad to Cullinan. The occasion was the 150th Celebration of Steam Railways in South Africa. This was my first trip with FotR and it was well worth the effort of going through to Pretoria. The train, consisting of vintage slam door suburban coaches was pulled by their Class 19D-2650 "Cheugnette". We were blessed with great weather and a short ceremony was held at Cullinan. FotR did an amazing job and deserve the credit due to them. Thanks Guys and Gals.
