2nd class E-16 coach 8868 is one of the few coaches that could be easily repaired and run again. She is reasonably watertight, but her open windows and vandalised interiors need a lot of work. Judging by what I have seen, somebody tried to make a home out of her, even going so far as to wallpapering her one compartment with bicarb labels! There is a lot of strange objects in her comps and passage, and I wish I had been able to see what actualy went on while she sat waiting to be restored. She was lost to fire during December 2010.
