The TS McEwan

The TS McEwan was an institution in Cape Town for many years and she was often found beneath a pall of smoke, earning her the nickname "Smokey Sue". Sadly she was never preserved and ended her day being sunk off Robben Island as an artifical reef in 1977. But, if there is a photograph of a large ship in Cape Town it is probable that she was involved in moving it.
Se was in service between 1925-1977 and was bult by Bow McLachlan and Company, Paisley. Principal dimensions were 793 GRT, 310 Net, 160x34,6x16,2
