 The Minesweeper SAS Durban in Retirement.
One of the the members of the famous "Ton" class minesweepers, this wooden hulled minesweper has found a niche as a museum ship at the port she is named after. The class had a displacement of 425 tons, 153 ft long, with a beam of 29ft and draught of 8 ft. Powered by Napier Deltic diesels they had a service speed of 15 knots. Photo by Derek Walker.
