The Queen Elizabeth 2 Gallery.

In 1986 I made a trip down to Durban to see the QE2. It was the first of 3 times that I have seen her and each time she just takes your breath away. These images were taken with a 50mm lens and a standard SLR, I knew nothing about ship photography in those days so they tend to look a bit iffy. However, it was a start, and today after scanning these images I decided that the time has come for everybody else to see them. The last time I saw her was in Hong Hong in 2008, on her final world cruise. It was a 3 second glimpse, nothing more. Her future is less than assured, but irrespective, she will go down in history as one of the worlds greatest ships.
