The Campanile. Port Elizabeth.

The Campanile in Port Elizabeth was built and completed in 1923 on the landing beach where the British Settlers landed in 1820 in commemoration of the centenary of their arrival. It is 51.8 meters high with 204 steps to the top and it has a carillon of 23 bells. It is situated in Strand Street.
