The 31/201 Battalion Memorial at the Voortrekker Monument

These photographs were taken on 29 May 2011 at the 31/201 Battalion Memorial at the Voortrekker Monument. I do not know what the history behind it is, but I believe it was missing at one point and was also at Pomfret. Sadly some of the brass plaques are barely legible but the Battalion Roll of Honour is available at the 31/201 Bn website. The Needle is due to be unveiled at a ceremony on the 18th September 2011.
