The First World War Memorial in Rotunda Park, Turffontein

I was not aware of this memorial in all the years I lived in Turffontein, I only discovered it by accident when looking for memorials in my map book. Sadly, vandals have have taken their toll and all that is left is the stone plinth where the plaque must have been. It is extremely unlikely that anything will ever be done to restore this memorial.
