The Heilbron Concentration Camp Memorial.

The original images I had on this page were courtesy of Terry Cawood, and I didn't really expect that one day i would be standing in that same cemetery taking photographs too. I passed through Heilbron in November 2011 and made two detours to get pics of the cemetery and the Anglo Boer War Memorial in the town. The Cemetery is interesting because it contains not only concentration camp graves, but a large mix of old and new graves as well as the an imperial soldiers plot. I took a lot of pics and need to cross reference them with the names on the memorials to see if any of those missing Burghers are buried here as well. More information on the Heilbron Camp can be found at British Concentration Camps of the South African War 1900-1902. The cemetery can be found at Google Earth Co-ordinates 27° 16.744'S   27° 58.177'E
